Teaching Facility
HMCC has one of the premier public teaching facilities in Westchester County. Our expansive teaching area allows you to practice any shot you might encounter while on the course.
You will learn on a grass hitting surface with non-limited flight golf balls. Our range extends over 300 yards allowing you to master your tee shot, while our short game area allows you to dial in on all aspects of your wedge game. Our grass teaching area is perfect for group instruction and includes a fairway bunker, green side bunkers, as well as a rough lined teaching section.
Our practice putting resembles our traditionally small but quick undulated greens on the course.

From experienced to beginners, our teaching programs fit a variety of students. Our experienced staff is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. We understand that everyone has different needs and knowing this allows us to simplify the game in order to make it fun and help you improve.
Meet Our Instructors
Nick Schremser, PGA
Director of Golf
Nick is a strong player, accomplished teacher, and passionate promoter of the game of golf. He has over 15 years of experience in the golf industry and has worked at golf clubs across the country. During the past 10 years as a PGA Professional, Nick has delivered training to players of varying abilities.
Joe Spivak, PGA
1st Assistant Golf Professional
Joe has been a PGA Professional since 2004 and has coached players of all skill levels including PGA Tour players, professional athletes, mini tour professionals, collegiate tour players, junior tour players, amateurs and beginners.
